North Central physicians provide psychiatric evaluation and consultation. They also closely evaluate and monitor the use of psychiatric medications. The impact of substance use and chemical dependence is also considered. Clients are generally seen by appointment, although the clinic welcomes existing clients without appointments in case of urgent problems or crisis issues.
Medication and Recovery
Medications can be a helpful and sometimes necessary part of treatment for mental illness. Any recommendation to use medication on the path to recovery is made on an individual basis, based on a client’s symptoms, history and preferences.
The medical staff works closely with individuals to monitor their progress.
